10/10 A room full of people worth knowing

Hey there Reader, heyy!

When was the last time you spent a day with interesting people talking about something more meaningful than what you do for a living?

Not exchanging elevator pitches. Not collecting contacts you’ll never call. Not sitting through another presentation while checking email under the table.

I mean real conversation, the kind that introduces you to people you genuinely want to know, awakens new ideas, and helps you see your life differently.

That is what we’re creating at the Visionary Leaders’ Salon on October 10.

You’ll spend the day with founders, creatives, community builders, professionals, and change-makers who care about living as meaningfully as they lead.

Together, we’ll explore one powerful question:

What would make your life a dime piece—a true 10 out of 10?

We can spend more time planning brunch than imagining the life we want to live.

Not because we don’t care, but because responsibilities take over. We become so practiced at getting through the day that we forget we are allowed to create a life we don’t merely survive or tolerate, but genuinely love.

And professional success alone does not make a life a 10.

A vision-driven life brings greater fulfillment across four essential areas:

  • Health: Do you have the energy and well-being to enjoy what you are building?
  • Relationships: Do the people in your life support, nourish, and truly know you?
  • Vocation & Creativity: Does your work express who you are and what matters to you?
  • Time and money: Do you have enough freedom to live, not merely keep up?

During the salon, you’ll step outside your usual routine and give your own life the attention you so readily give to everyone and everything else.

Through thought-provoking guided conversations, personal reflection, shared experiences, laughter, and connection, you’ll explore what is working, what is missing, and what may be calling you forward.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clearer picture of what a 10/10 life means for you
  • Fresh perspective on an area that feels neglected, stuck, or ready to grow
  • At least one meaningful decision to carry into your next chapter
  • New relationships with people doing courageous and interesting things
  • Renewed energy for the life you want to create

And yes, we intend to have a good time. Creating a life you love should not feel like detention in a conference room.

I’m Lori A. Harris, an award-winning coach recognized for the results my clients achieve. I help visionary people discover and live lives they love—not only through what they accomplish, but through how fully they get to live.

On October 10, we'll create the conditions for honest conversation, surprising insight, creative possibility, and meaningful connection.

We’ll gather inside the Artist’s Hearth at 18th Street Arts Center, where Momo Nagano: Archeology of Motherhood is currently on display.

The exhibition explores the camouflage-net factory operated at Manzanar, where more than 10,000 Japanese Americans were forcibly incarcerated during World War II. Performance artist Dan Kwong has re-created a scaled-down version of the factory, honoring camo-net worker Momo Nagano and inviting visitors to weave together strips of fabric as reflections on identity, visibility, and connection.

During our salon, you’ll be invited to add your own weaving to this evolving work of art.

It is a fitting setting for our day: each person bringing a different story, perspective, and possibility—and contributing to something none of us could create alone.

Early Access seats are still available at $27 - and when you register today, The Daily Rise arrives as our gift to you. A $17 morning practice rooted in Black liberation energy that helps you start your day as somebody. Not just somebody's helper.

Lori A. Harris, Life Mastery & Integrative Change Coach

After over thirty years as a defense trial attorney, trying misdemeanors to capital offenses, I sat side by side with folks the world had written off. I learned more about freedom in courtrooms and lock-ups than anywhere else in my life. I'm what you get when you cross a preacher's kid with a trial lawyer and a coach. Direct. Grounded. I face the truth and let it stand on its own. I work from three levers: awareness, decision, and question. Gratitude and forgiveness sit underneath it all, along with a belief that liberation is a daily practice, a decision made each day. Today I serve as an Integrative Change Coach and Life Mastery Consultant, certified through the Brave Thinking Institute. My favorite pronoun is "we." I write a weekly column, Unlock Your Life, and host a podcast by the same name. I bring all of it into The Decidedly Dispatch. Choose free.
